About the Intestinal Health Institute

The Intestinal Health Institute was founded by Dr. Patrick Pendergast and Dr. Iain Murray in May, 2003.  We perform patient consultation, gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy at the Institute, in an out-of-hospital setting.  We are most interested in colon cancer screening.  Dr. Murray continues an active practice in gastroenterology.

At the Intestinal Health Institute, we ensure that all our equipment is properly sterilized before each use. You can read about our sterilization process here.
